well that design looks a lot like an upgraded version of the 00 gundam which would have to expect that it will be either a new series in the 00 universe ,or it could probably a new series of the SEED universe since it have the front frame that looks like those of the strike freedom. highly doubt they would do another series based off of the Universal Century since we already have the Char origins OVA as well as the Gundam Reconguista series. |

Reminded of Gundam 00. It was the last good traditional gundam on tv. Lets get it back to those levels. Also, 4 cour.

The design is definitely reminiscent of Gundam 00 - especially the arms in my opinion - but I doubt that the show will be a new entry into that part of the franchise. It's more likely to be a brand new AU.
(recalls the disaster that was season two) Yeah, how about let's not. |

Let's take Gundam back to some War in the Pocket storytelling. Imagine that quality with a couple cours of runtime. Less about superhax powers, and more about real people in a war. Kinda like that Gundam franchise used to be.
That said, the new design feels like it is doing a bit of it's own thing. |

One good gut punch and it's all over. It's just a spine and two hydraulics down there. Why put so much heavy armor all over it and then give him a waist that's a third the size of his hips?
Anyway, adjusting the image brightness and contrast gave me this. Meet your new Gundam.

Wow, you're totally right. Don't know how I missed it. The waist is freakishly skinny, and even the shoulders are actuated with thin struts that are exposed to enemy fire. Looks to me like the Gundam's under construction/unfinished, which might explain the skinny waist. Possibly a plot point?

Yeah, I don't think this new Gundam is finished yet. Looking at its surroundings (all the cables), it seems like it's still in a factory.
