Nice to see Ancient Magus' Bride and Nisekoi in there, 2 series I'm buying. Though, there was some delay with me getting my copy of AMB, so I've yet to read volume 2.

I imagine the combined popularity of TG/OPM/AoT will soon dominate the list, if it hasn't already.

I imagine The Ancient Magus Bride was a risky license for Seven Seas (shounen romance with a female lead and no anime to drum up interest), so it's nice to see it becoming a hit.

Yeah, am happy it's paying off for them so far, unlike Lucifer and the Biscuit Hammer which just bombed for them.

Lucifer is a much older, obscure property released in omnibus format. TAMB is a very new but it already has a lot of interest in Japan. It will probably get an anime adaption within the next 2 years which will help it in both markets. It's a shame Lucifer never got an anime adaptation because the manga sales would be a whole lot different if it did.

Yeah, I wish more people grabbed Biscuit Hammer. But, SS knew that it was a risk going in for that series. And, it's nice to see that a risk (I also believe that grabbing Magus Bride was) is paying off.
It also doesn't hurt that there's some beautiful art in the series. Hope that more people give the series a chance. And, I just hope that it doesn't hit many/any delays. Main reason being, we're only a couple of volumes behind Japan. It being new and a relatively unknown property, lengthy delays could hurt this series more than most others.

Also doesn't help that Biscuit Hammer isn't as enticing name title as anything Bride to otaku

From The New York Times website:
Quote: |
Attack on Titan, vol 16, by Hajime Isayama (Kodansha Comics.) Eren has been kidnapped and the search is on, but can the Survey Corps find her in time? |
That just tickled my funny bone this weekend. As if Eren doesn't have enough problems, The New York Times misgenders him!
