Godzilla Teams Up With PARCO Mascot in Film Trailer Spoof

Godzilla has spent much of his time up to the premiere of his latest film crossing over with Neon Genesis Evangelion, where the radioactive lizard finds himself at odds with Shinji's Unit-01. A new collaboration with the PARCO department store's Parcoala mascot appears to show the two creatures terrorizing Tokyo together. A commercial began streaming on Tuesday with footage taken from the Godzilla: Resurgence (Shin Godzilla) trailer.
PARCO will hold its Grand Bazaar from July 1-18 with sales on fashion, interior, and other goods. An edited version of the Godzilla: Resurgence film poster with the titular monster wearing Parcoala ears will also be available at the event.
Parcoala previously suited up in a plug suit for the Evangelion Exhibit last year.
