Yuri!!! on Ice Character Designer Draws Tokyo Anime Awards Fes Visual

The Tokyo Anime Award Festival 2018 won't kick off until March but the event already released its promotional image drawn by animator Tadashi Hiramatsu. Hiramatsu is the character designer behind the immensely popular Yuri!!! on Ice as well as Parasyte -the maxim- and also worked with Gainax on FLCL and the Evangelion television anime.
The Tokyo Anime Award Festival will be held this year in Ikebukuro in Tokyo from March 9-13. The festival will grant awards to theatrical and television anime, as well as individual awards for different staff positions. Last year Yuri!!! on Ice won the Animation of the Year: Anime Fan Award and the Television Animation Division award. A Silent Voice won the Theatrical Animation Division award.
