DAYS Soccer Manga to Bundle to 2 New Original Anime DVDs

Online retailers are listing Tsuyoshi Yasuda's 21st and 22nd DAYS manga volumes in limited-edition bundles with original anime DVDs on March 17 and May 17, respectively, of next year.
In the anime bundled with the 21st manga volume, the Seiseki team members encounter their Sakuragi High School rivals at a summer training camp, and a random incident leads to a beach soccer all-star game between the two teams.
The anime bundled with the 22nd manga volume depicts the traditional games played at the Kagoshima training camp, where the best from around the country have assembled.
Ponycan USA, which will release the ongoing television anime in North America, describes the overall story:
The two boys chance meeting on a stormy night. With no skills or outstanding features, one boy hides a passionate heart, Tsukushi Tsukamoto. The other is a lonely soccer genius, Jin Kazama. The winds of change begin to blow in the world of high school soccer as these two boys with nothing in common come together. The curtain on this hot-blooded, touching story is rising… Tsukushi joins the Seiseki Soccer Club with Kazama ,and the wheels of fate start to turn. The prodigy, Jin Kazama. Kônosuke Uda (One Piece, Ginga e Kickoff!!, Majin Bone) is directing the television anime at MAPPA (Terror in Resonance, Rage of Bahamut Genesis). Kazuto Nakazawa (El-Hazard: The Wanderers, The Legend of Black Heaven, Terror in Resonance) is designing the characters for animation, and Masafumi Mima (Macross Frontier, Infinite Stratos, Attack on Titan) is in charge of sound direction at Techno Sound. Yoshihiro Ike (Empire of Corpses, Cobra The Animation, Rage of Bahamut Genesis) is composing the music, and Pony Canyon is producing the music.
The anime premiered on MBS on Sunday, July 3 at 2:58 a.m. Crunchyroll is streaming the series as it airs.
