Ongaku Overdrive Presents Virtua Ongaku 8 Deluxe Live Video Game Music Concert
ORLANDO, FL - This Saturday, March 27th, 2021, Ongaku Overdrive presents their first online concert, Virtua Ongaku 8 Deluxe. The Virtua Ongaku series has featured the best video game music and nerdcore acts in North America, where thousands of unique viewers have tuned in safely from their homes.
Ongaku Overdrive has been proud to put on these online concerts, featuring incredibly diverse lineups, live on twitch.tv/ongakuoverdrive. Performing on Virtua Ongaku 8 Deluxe will feature the following performers:
Bitforce - Classic cartoons, video games, movies, and anime, nothing is off limits for the musical stylings of Bitforce. These 8-Bit warriors from Texas don light-up armor to use their music to go to war with a multiverse of villains, both well-known and original. Shubzilla & Bill Beats - Shubzilla and Bill Beats are a rapper/DJ duo based in the Pacific Northwest, and part of the NOIR GRIME family. Shubzilla and Bill Beats have Emerald City Comic-Con, MAGfest, PAXWest, and Norwescon under their belts, as well as tours with mc chris, Kadesh Flow, and EyeQ. With Shubzilla's frank and aggressive lyrics and Bill Beats' penchant for samples and bass-heavy compositions, they do not disappoint.
dj-Jo - Orlando-based producer dj-Jo has made his mark on the YouTube community with his hard hitting, melody driven arrangements of popular anime and video game franchises such as Attack on Titan, Tokyo Ghoul, The Legend of Zelda, and Undertale. His live shows are high-energy spectacles, even on stream, where he performs his music on stage with his trusty keytar.
Creative Mind Frame - Creative Mind Frame's music is filled with positive vibes and fun raps, harkening back to the days of Fresh Prince and Jazzy Jeff. When Creative Mind Frame is not performing on stages around the world and on the internet, he's training for the upcoming season of American Ninja Warrior, in which he will be an official entrant. Most recently, the "Nerdcore Ninja" released a tribute to Sega with K-Murdock called Segacity.
The Arkadian - The Arkadian is a Boston-based hard rock/heavy metal project that writes original material about video games while also covering video game music classics. Founded by singer/guitarist Jon O'neal, The Arkadian continues to put on a unique VGM rock spectacle and is celebrating its 5th anniversary later this year.
