Irodori Sakura Licenses Until We're Together by Indie Manga Artist schwinn

OREGON, USA – January 10, 2023 – Irodori Sakura – BL, Yuri, and LGBTQ+ English localization imprint of indie manga publisher Irodori Comics – is proud to announce that it has acquired the license of schwinn's “Until We're Together”.

schwinn is a young, up-and-coming manga artist who often explores how different generations get to experience the world. The poignant story Until We're Together (Ore ga Sensei to Tsukiau Made) is one such example in the artist's portfolio of work. In it, schwinn explores generational differences in the Japanese gay community and how queer media from overseas, such as Drag Race, can help spark a conversation that leads towards bringing people together.

Until We're Together
Story and Art by schwinn

Toshihiko a.k.a "Toshy" practices English by watching streams of Western shows in secret. He feels even more motivated to improve when his English teacher, Mr. Fujii, praises him on his English pronunciation. Years later, in a different setting, the two are fatefully reunited. The circumstances are different now as Toshy reveals that he's always carried a torch for Mr. Fujii. Can he win the race of love and more? Racers, start your engines...

The digital release of Until We're Together will be released digitally in February and is currently available for pre-order on the Irodori Sakura website. The 87-page-long volume is priced at $12.25. The work will be made available on other digital platforms at a later date as well.
